Our September theme was ‘Myself & my Family’. In Aistear we constructed houses, played in the home corner role play area (which even brought in some fun writing such as shopping lists!) and made household items using play dough. We integrated the topic with maths by making class graphs about the similarities & differences between our families, and we discussed the different roles people have in a family in SPHE.
