Autumn explorations 😊

We had lots of fun exploring Autumn. In Aistear we had an Autumn farm role-play area with a toy wheelbarrow, rake and spade. The kids loved using our fruit and vegetable counters to role-play harvesting vegetables. We also explored making a hibernation den for a hedgehog using various autumn items. We gathered hazelnuts on the yard and went on an Autumn walk in the woods. Finally we learned about the life cycle of apples and made lovely apple prints.
