Christmas-themed learning!😊

We’ve had a busy December! We explored 3-D shapes in maths and 1st and 2nd class children made Christmas-themed shapes using ‘nets’. We also learned about symmetry and made symmetrical baubles by painting designs and folding over the paper.

In SESE we’ve been learning about Christmas in Mexico. We listened and responded to a lovely Mexican story called ‘The Legend of the Poinsettia‘. We also made paper plate poinsettias and decorated Christmas trees for art😊
