Dear Parents/Guardians,
This school year has been another year to remember in so many ways. We have become used to a new reality and we have all worked hard to overcome the various challenges that we have faced this year.
The students in our school must be highly commended on the way they adapted to all the changes to their school lives both in the classroom and for the period of remote learning during the second term. The ability of our students to consistently put their best foot forward and show off all their talents no matter what the challenge is a great example to all of us.
The following information will be on our school website from Friday June 25th.
- School Calendar 2021/2022
- Uniform details
- NCCA Information leaflets for parents/guardians regarding your child’s education
- Board of Management Letter
Your Child’s report will be sent home next week. If you have any queries or questions regarding your child’s school report, please feel free to contact your class teacher by email or by calling the school and we will be in touch.
All pupils are covered by 24 hour Pupil Personal Accident Insurance. If your child has an accident you may be able to claim back expenses incurred. Please contact the school for details if required.
We would ask you return any school books before the end of the school year.
A strong school community is essential to a good school. We in the school would like to say thank you to the parents for your help and continued support of the work undertaken in this school. We hope that you are happy with your child (ren)’s experience in our school.
Thank you to our students for the effort, manner, and commitment that you have shown in school and at home during remote learning this year. Your engagement with all the teaching and learning during this school year has been impressive. We are immensely proud to be your teachers, it makes our job a little easier with your great attitude! You are a credit to yourselves, your families, school, and community. Well done, congratulations and keep doing your best.
For our sixth class who take their next step in Secondary School we wish you success in the future. You have been great role models for all and cultivated a warm friendly atmosphere in our school for all. We look forward to learning of your future successes. We hope that you have fond memories of your years in Ballyfarnon National School. Continue to give your best effort in your new schools. They are lucky to be getting such fine people in their schools.
We would like to express our sincere thanks for the continued help, support and time given by Fr. Cathal and our Board of Management.
