Exploring the kilogram! 😊

We’ve had fun exploring the topic of weight in maths. After weighing a variety of school items using non-standard units such as cubes and   beads, we began to explore kilograms & grams. In these photos we were trying to fill bags with sand so that they weighed exactly a kilogram. It was challenging to get the measurement just right😊
